JSTOR will undergo a platform upgrade on Saturday 18 December. Major disruption to services are not expected although the MyJSTOR feature, which is used to save citations or make changes to your personal account, may be unavailable. Highlights of the upgrade include:
• A wider range of content formats, including full-text HTML for some journals and downloadable PDFs for all current journal issues
• Multimedia files for some journals
• New personalisation features, including the ability to register for Table of Contents (TOC) emails and alerts when new content matches saved search terms
• Information pages for the titles participating in the new Current Scholarship Program
With this upgrade the JSTOR platform will be ready to host current issue content for selected journals. JSTOR will become more than an archive of older journals – it will also be the site where current content (selected titles) is stored.
